Spencer Friske at the Main Line Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 25 at Haverford College.
Friske completed the 4-mile course in 20:15.50, placing 23rd amongst 119 runners.Senior
Erick White (20:25.20) was the next Garnet finisher, followed closely by senior
Jonas Oppenheimer one second later. Junior
Paul Green clocked in at 20:35.10, and rounding out Swarthmore's top-five was sophomore
Sid Kakkar in 20:57.90.
The race included other runners from Villanova, Penn, St. Josephs, La Salle, Widener, and host Haverford. Lehigh's Ryan Mahalsky won the individual crown at the non-scoring meet, completeing the circuit in 19:25.20 and nearly seven seconds ahead of the runner-up finisher.
Next up for the Garnet is the Paul Short Meet at Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 4.
