FULL MEET RESULTS
CONWAY, S.C. – Freshman
Sid Kakkar posted a runner-up finish in the 800-meter run in his first collegiate meet outdoors to lead the men's track & field team at the Coastal Carolina Invitational.
Day 1
Kakkar recorded a second-place time of 2:01.44 in the 800, which was just 32 hundredths of a second shy of the winner. Sophomore
Ethan Lee, who is transitioning to track & field after competing on the men's basketball team this past winter, finished 16th in 2:04.67.
Other notable performances were made by senior
Robert Fain and junior
Jason Heo. Fain was 12th in the 1,500-meter run in 4:14.09, while Heo finished 16th in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles by navigating the track in 59.23 seconds.
Day 2
Junior
Erick White lead the Garnet in the second day of competition as he ran to a college-best 9:00.85 eighth-place finish in the 3,000. In the same event, senior
Dan Kalamarides hit the tape at 9:19.76 for 19th place overall.

Gavin Fahey, Heo, freshman
Jerry Qin, and junior
Tim Vaughan-Ogunlusi competed in the 4x100 relay, sprinting to a 46.61 finish. In the 4x400 relay the foursome of Lee, Fahey, Heo and senior
Richard Scott paced to a 3:31.31 finishing mark.
Swarthmore continues the outdoor season on March 28th for the two-day Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University.
