MEN'S BROWN 8K RESULTSMEN'S OPEN RESULTSBETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's cross country team placed fifth out of 40 teams at the 41st Annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, Oct. 4.
In the Men's Brown 8k Division, Swarthmore was led by sophomore
Sid Kakkar who finished in 25:52 for 40th place overall in a field of 341 runners. Following closely behind were junior
Paul Green and senior
Erick White, crossing the line together in 25:53 to finish 42nd and 43rd. Senior
Jonas Oppenheimer clocked in at 25:58, shaving 101 seconds from last season's finish. Junior
Mike McConville rounded out the Garnet top five at 26:17.
Racing in a field of several Divisions I schools, Swarthmore finished with a competitive score of 266 points.
The Garnet run in one last race before the conference championships, traveling to the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 18.
