HAVERFORD, Pa. - Swarthmore College men's cross country runners were led by sophomore Mike McConville at Thursday's Main Line Invitational hosted by Haverford College.
McConville navigated the four-mile course in 20:27.92 as Swarthmore's first runner past the finish line and 33rd amongst a field of 122 runners.
Freshman Sid Kakkar (20:41.25) clocked in next for the Garnet and was followed by sophomore Erick White and seniors Robert Fain and Stuart Russell, who finished one-two-three and within seconds of each other. All three returners improved their course times from last season.
Next up for the Garnet is the Lehigh Paul Short Run on Saturday, October 5.
