HANOVER, Ind. - Sophomore Mike McConville of the Swarthmore College men's cross country team competed at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday afternoon to cap his first season with the Garnet.

Running amongst an elite field of 275 runners, McConville paced the 8,000-meter course in 26:36.6 to place 206th overall. 

Michael LeDuc of Connecticut College took the men's individual title with his 24:29.3 finish. For the team championship, St. Olaf of Minnesota placed four runners in the top-25 to beat out second-place North Central by a two-point margin, 84-86. 

With McConville's championship appearance, the Garnet cross country program has sent a participant in each of the last 10 Division III championships.
