BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's cross country team placed ninth out of 49 teams in the 40th Annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University.
In the Men's Brown 8k division, sophomore
Mike McConville led all Garnet runners with a 36th overall finish (26:12). Freshamn
Sid Kakkar clocked 26:27 to place 49th out of 372 runners.
Sophomore
Paul Green paced in at 26:48 followed closely behind by senior
Stuart Russell at 26:50. Junior
Erick White rounded out the top-five Garnet finishers at 26:55.
Swarthmore finished the Brown run with 337 points, more than holding its own in a field of several Division I schools.
The Garnet compete in one last race before the conference championships, traveling to the Princeton Invitational on October 19th.
