WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team finished fourth at West Chester University's Bill Butler Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet dominated the shot put with four athletes scoring points.
Tate Garcia was the runner-up (12.10m),
Briana Eugene took fifth (11.34m),
Aislinn Comerford came in sixth (11.06m), and
Hannah Swale finished seventh (10.87m). Eugene's mark was a personal best.

Lydia Morris-Kliment placed second (40.80m) in the discus and Garcia followed in third (39.31m).
Elizabeth Page crossed third (2:17.31) in the 800 meters while
Olivia Montini and
Ania Wong were sixth (2:20.12) and seventh (2:20.44) respectively. Montini's time was a career best.
- Swale posted a third-place finish (1.45m) in the high jump and
Deedra Closser came in seventh (1.35m).
Gabby Bredbenner had a pair of top-eight performances, taking fourth (1:00.39) in the 400 meters and eighth (26.53) in the 200 meters.
Sophia Springer recorded a height of 2.91 meters for sixth place in the pole vault.
