LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Aubree Daugherty was selected the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday by the conference office.
Daugherty led the Garnet to a pair of victories, tallying 15 points on nine goals and six assists while also picking up four ground balls over the two contests. The senior opened the week with five goals, one assist, and four ground balls in a 20-5 win over DeSales. Daugherty then had a career day at Washington, posting a career-best nine points on four goals and five assists. Her effort contributed to Swarthmore's comeback from an 8-3 deficit in a 17-9 victory. The win was the Garnet's first in Chestertown since 2006 and Swarthmore has won back-to-back games in the series for the first time since 2007.
The Garnet host Muhlenberg College on Wednesday night.
