Hill, Page Victorious at Keogh Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's track team put together several standout performances in its final tune up before the Centennial Conference Championships at the Haverford Keogh Invitational on Friday night.

Elizabeth Page and Caroline Hill headlined the evening with first-place finishes. Page was victorious in the 3000m run, while Hill triumphed in the high jump.
In total, the Garnet captured seven top-three finishes in an excellent afternoon for the squad. 


HOW IT HAPPENED
- Page won the 3000m run with a time of 10:14.36, setting a new personal best. Olivia Cloutier also took seventh in the event with a personal record of 11:58.04.

- Hill was first overall in the high jump, clearing a top height of 1.53m. Kate Reiter followed in third place with a top mark of 1.45m. 

- Olivia Montini (5:21.84) and Aaliyah Anaskevich (5:36.01) finished second and third in the mile. Anaskevich's time marked a personal record. 

- Tate Garcia earned a runner-up finish in the shop put with a best throw of 11.78m. Aislinn Comerford (10.78m), Briana Eugene (10.21m) and Amelia Landry (9.49m) also put together top-10 finishes for Swarthmore. 

- Gabby Bredbenner put together three top-five finishes in the 60m, 200m and 400m dashes. The rookie was third in the 200m dash at 27.38, while achieving a personal record in the 60m with a 8.28 mark. She also grabbed fourth in the 400m dash with a 1:03.09 mark. Hannah Garrou placed sixth and seventh in the 200m (27.89) and 60m (8.34) dashes, respectively.

- Bella Theon placed eighth in the 800m run with a 2:29.15 finish, while Rica Eleches-Lipsitz took 10th overall at 2:34.01. Both times marked personal records for the individuals.
