Men’s Swimming Captures Three Gold Medals on Championship Night Three

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's swimming team won three gold medals in an impressive showing on night three of the Centennial Conference Championships. The Garnet have captured eight total medals heading into tomorrow's finale.

Cami Wilson continued his winning ways, dazzling the field with a gold medal and a conference record in the 100 butterfly. Wilson destroyed his own record to secure his third championship in the event, becoming the fourth swimmer in conference history to win gold three times in the 100 fly.

Danny Castle became a multi-time winner in the 200 freestyle, defending his gold medal in the event. The senior put up a remarkable swim, which overthrew Ben Freeman's program and meet record.

Wilson and Castle both captured another gold medal on the evening, teaming up with Levi Tipton and Luke Magnuson for a championship finish in the 200 freestyle. The Garnet set a conference and pool record in the event, while outperforming the NCAA B cut.

Swarthmore currently sits in second place with 473 points. Johns Hopkins leads the team standings with 653.5 points, while Gettysburg is third with 449.
