HAVERFORD, Pa., and LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's indoor track & field team competed at both Haverford College's Seamus McElligott Invitational and Franklin and Marshall College's Coach I Invitational on Saturday.
Gabby Bredbenner was the top performer of the day, winning the 200 meters while finishing runner-up in the 400 meters at Haverford.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bredbenner was victorious in the 200 with a time of 27.44. She bested the second-place finisher by 0.22 seconds. Bredbenner also placed second (1:03.55) in the 400 with
Alyson Goldbacher coming in fourth (1:05.77). Goldbacher was also fourth (2.90m) in the pole vault.

Ania Wong took third (2:24.50) in the 800 meters with
Olivia Montini finishing fifth (2:25.55) in the event.
- The Garnet had three athletes in the top-eight of the mile, with
Bella Thoen fifth (5:46.49),
Rica Eleches-Lipsitz seventh (5:48.90), and
Aaliyah Anaskevich eighth (5:51.08). It was a career-best time for Thoen.

Rebekah Gendler led the group at F&M, placing fourth in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 10.38m.
