STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Swarthmore College women's indoor track & field team returned to action on Friday at the NYC Gotham Cup at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Hannah Garrou had the top finish of the day for the Garnet, taking sixth in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.57.
Indira Brou also competed in the event, finishing 13
th (8.99).

Elizabeth Page came in seventh place (10:18.91) in the 3000 meters and
Olivia Montini followed in 15
th (10:36.21). Montini's time was a career best.

Alyson Goldbacher competed in the pole vault and tied for seventh place (2.80m).
Tate Garcia and
Lydia Morris-Kliment took eighth (11.39m) and 16
th (10.73m) respectively in the shot put. Morris-Kliment's toss was a personal best.

Caroline Hill had a pair of top-15 performances, tying for 12
th (1.40m) in the high jump and finishing 15
th (9.91) in the 60 meter hurdles. Her time in the hurdles was a career best.
Kate Reiter equaled Hill in the high jump, tying for 12
th place (1.40m).
Rebekah Gendler took 19
th in the triple jump with a distance of 10.08m.

The Garnet compete in a pair of meets next weekend with action at Haverford College's Seamus McElligott Invitational and Franklin and Marshall College's Coach I Invitational.
