LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Swarthmore College softball team garnered 16 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete selections, announced on Thursday afternoon. In addition, the Garnet received the organization's Team Academic Award for producing a team GPA over 3.00, boasting a mark of 3.66.

Ava Babcock, Iris Barone, Lane Barron, Emily Bertrand, Emilee Espinoza, Lilly Goldberg, Catherine Heflin, Jordan Jackson, Olivia McClammy, Avery McClure, Elisabeth O'Connor, Abby Reed, Lucia Sanchez, Sarah Schab, Grace Taylor and Regan Valenzuela all received recognition from the NFCA by achieving a 3.5 or better grade-point average during the academic year. 

Earlier this summer, the reigning Centennial Conference Champions earned four CSC Academic All-District selections with Barron, Barone, Bertrand and McClammy receiving nods.
