LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's lacrosse team had three players selected to the All-Centennial Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Mia Holland was named to the All-Centennial Second Team while
Isabela Bloomquist and Gillan Will both received honorable mention. It was the third consecutive All-Centennial nod for both Holland and Bloomquist. In addition,
Abigail Love was the team's representative on the Centennial All-Sportsmanship Team.
Holland led the Garnet in ground balls (36) and caused turnovers (33) while ranking second in draw controls (30). She was second in the conference in caused turnovers and tied for eighth in ground balls. Holland helped Swarthmore finish fourth in the conference in scoring defense (9.59). In her best game of the season versus McDaniel College, the senior posted career highs in caused turnovers (6), ground balls (5), and draw controls (7).
Bloomquist was the Garnet's goals leader with 35 and she was second on the squad in assists (14) and points (49). The senior ranked in the top 20 in the conference in all three categories. Bloomquist scored three or more goals in a game six times this season and recorded five or more points twice.
Will finished second on the team behind Holland in ground balls (31) and caused turnovers (19). She ranked in the top 20 in the Centennial in both categories. Will was a key player on a Garnet squad that placed fourth in the conference in scoring defense (9.59).
The trio helped Swarthmore qualify for the Centennial Tournament for the first time since 2022 and compile a 10-7 record.
