HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's cross country team ran at the Main Line Invitational at Haverford College on Friday and came in fourth place.
The Garnet was the top non-Division I squad at the 5K meet, besting two Division II teams and three Division III contingents. Swarthmore had three runners finish in the top 20.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Olivia Montini and
Elizabeth Page crossed the line back-to-back, taking 16
th (18:53.1) and 17
th (18:55.1) place respectively. It was a career-best time for both athletes and they were the top non-Division I finishers.

Ania Wong posted a career best with a time of 19:05.6 to come in 19
th place.

Sophie Goodwin took 34
th with a time of 20:02.8. It was the best 5K time of her career.
Alina Irvine was the final Swarthmore scorer, placing 45
th (20:36.6) with a career best.

Aaliyah Anaskevich (20:46.6),
Tara Dhawale (20:58.0),
Evie Parts (21:16.6),
Lucy Valencia (21:28.7),
Morgan Mouer (21:40.0),
Bella Thoen (22:04.0), and
Eli Dellinger (22:47.0) rounded out the Garnet squad and all ran personal bests.
