LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College women's track & field team came in third place at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championships held at Franklin and Marshall College on Sunday.
 
The Garnet held their position from Saturday's opening day and finished with 60.5 points. It is Swarthmore's fifth consecutive top-three finish at the meet.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- 
Hannah Swale followed up Saturday's gold medal in the pentathlon with a fourth-place performance in the 60 meter hurdles, clocking in at 9.66. She also came in sixth in the high jump with a height of 4' 11.75" (1.52m), which was a season best.
 
- 
Tate Garcia took fifth in the shot put, throwing 39' 1" (11.91m). She recorded the distance on her first attempt.
 
- 
Lydia Morris-Kliment competed in the long jump and finished fifth (17' 2.75", 5.25m). She achieved the mark twice on her third and fifth attempts and it was a personal best.
 
- The Garnet had three athletes earn points in the high jump, with 
Trelstad T in fourth (5' 1.75", 1.57m), Swale in sixth, and 
Caroline Hill in eighth (4' 9.75", 1.47m). Trelstad equaled their season best.
 
- Swarthmore finished seventh in the 4x400 meter relay with 
Cami Bortz, 
Kiara Pedra, Hannah Garou, and 
Miranda Kashynski posting a time of 4:17.92.

The Garnet head to the Tufts National Qualifying Meet on March 2 for their final chance at qualifying athletes for the NCAA Championships.
