Cantine Competes in 1500m Run at NCAA Championships

ROCHESTER, NY - Swarthmore College men's track & field senior Aidan Cantine concluded his career with the Garnet at the NCAA National Championships on Thursday night.

Cantine represented Swarthmore in the 1500m run as he placed 16th overall with a time of 3:51.54. The senior broke the previous facility record of 3:52.75 and placed second out of four Centennial Conference runners. 

Cantine competed in his third NCAA National Championship of the year after qualifying in cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field. The senior's season was highlighted by an All-American mark in the mile at the indoor championships.
