Men’s Track & Field Earns Top-Five Finish at Middlesex Invitational

EDISON, NJ - The Swarthmore College men's track & field team returned to action at the Middlesex College Invitational on Saturday. The Garnet tied for fifth overall out of 19 teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sam Brody posted a second place finish in the 1500m run with a time of 4:09.08. The junior set a new personal record mark in the event.

- Jeremy Amankwah finished ninth in the 110 hurdles at 18.28 to set a personal record.

- Paul Seth placed third in the pole vault with a top mark of 3.50m.

- Julio Del Cid earned a personal record in the shot put with a top throw of 11.88m to finish sixth overall.

UP NEXT
The Garnet return to action next week at the Widener Invite.
