MEDFORD, Ma. - Taking part in the Tufts National Qualifying Meet, senior
Aidan Cantine put up stupendous results on Saturday, Mar. 4th.
Competing against athletes from nearly 50 different schools, including Centennial rivals Johns Hopkins University and Ursinus College dominated in the mile run, finishing first in the event.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cantine's winning time of 4:07.32 in the mile run not only secured him first place, but also set a new Swarthmore program record in the event, overtaking a mark that Cantine himself set earlier this season by over two seconds. With the result, Cantine now owns the ninth best mile time in all of DIII track & field this season.
UP NEXT
Heading down to Alabama, the women's track & field team will compete in the NCAA Indoor T&F National Championship from Friday, Mar. 10th - Saturday, Mar. 11th.
