Men’s 400 Medley Relay Earns All-America Status on Day Two

GREENSBORO, NC - The Swarthmore College men's swimming team earned their first All-America award of the meet with an honorable mention in the 400 medley relay on Thursday. 

The 400 medley relay of Joey Lukner, Andrew Karpenko, Cami Wilson and Cole Griscavage earned a spot in the finals with a 16th place finish in the prelims. The team earned the final spot in the night session with a time of 3:19.85 in the event. 

In the finals, the team improved one spot as they finished 15th overall. The team touched the wall at 3:20.85 to earn All-America honorable mention distinction. 



The Garnet also competed in the 200 freestyle relay as they placed 25th overall. The team of Wilson, Griscavage, Karpenko and Lukner finished at 1:24.15 in the morning prelims. 

Cami Wilson was the only individual to compete for the men. The first-year was 23rd overall out of 42 qualifiers in the 100 butterfly with a time of 48.79.
