WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Swarthmore College women's cross country team came in sixth place at the Centennial Conference Championships held at McDaniel College on Saturday.
Olivia Montini led the Garnet, crossing in 24:38.2 for 14
th place. She snagged the last All-Centennial spot, garnering second team accolades. It is the fifth consecutive season that Swarthmore has produced an All-Centennial runner.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Montini secured the final All-Centennial slot by eight seconds over the next runner. She was four seconds off the lead after the first mile before dropping back over the remainder of the 6K course.
- Téa Malone-Bonacci finished 33
rd in her first conference championship, clocking in at 26:20.9. Fellow rookie
Sophie Goodwin took 42
nd place with a time of 27:03.1.

Charisma Hasan's time of 27:13.8 was good for 44
th place. It was the senior's best career placement at the Centennial Championships.

th – 27:36.3),
Iliana Gonzalez (55
th – 27:53.7), and
Lucy Valencia (56
th – 27:57.6) rounded out the top seven for the Garnet.
