Men’s Swimming Leads After Opening Session of Gettysburg Invitational

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's swimming team leads the way after the opening session of the Gettysburg Invitational on Friday. The Garnet hold a narrow lead with 254 points, while the Bullets sit in second place with 253.5 points. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ethan Marotte, Griscavage, Das and Benton Greenberg finished second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:23.87. The team moved into fifth all-time on the program's leaderboard. The relay of Suh, Dylan Ling, John Grey Crosby and Vijay Chhabra also took fourth in the event at 1:26.01.

- Cole Griscavage was third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.42, while AJ Das placed fifth with a 21.57 effort.

- Joey Lukner, Ben Wesley, Jonathan Suh and Griscavage took second in the 400 medley relay with a 3:26.88 finish.

- Ben Freeman was fifth in the 500 freestyle as he touched the wall at 4:45.23.
