GENEVA, Ohio - Swarthmore College junior
Clay Conley garnered All-American status for the second time this year with an eighth-place finish in the shot put at the 2019 Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

Lauren Holt competed at nationals for the first time in her career and placed 21st in the 400-meter dash with a 58.50 second finish. Holt placed within one second of finishing 17th in the preliminary heat. Stevens Institute junior Gina Dello Russo had the fastest prelim time at 55.24 seconds.
Conley's first throw of 13.77 meters was their furthest on Friday. Conley was also an All-American in the indoor shot put this season. They placed seventh at the championships in Boston.
Ta'amu Reyna, a senior from Redlands, took first on Friday with a launch of 15.11m. Conley finished 0.05m behind seventh place and 0.21m behind sixth.
Conley was the gold medalist in the shot put and hammer throw at the Centennial Conference Championships this season, and Holt took first place in the 400 dash as well.
