LEHIGH, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country competed in the Paul Short Run Brown 6K on Friday. The Garnet finished in 14th in the race with 357 points. 

Lilly Price led Swarthmore with a time of 23:01 and finished in 47th place. The Garnet had six runners finish with sub 24-minute times. Xiaojing Zeng ran in 23:13 and McKenzie Himelein-Wachowiak clocked in at 23:22. Irina Bukharin finished in 23:51 for 91st place, and Jillian Haywood (23:57) and Hannah Gutow (23:58) were just a second apart.

Phoebe Whiteside finished seventh for Swarthmore with a time of 24:28.

The Garnet averaged 23:29 as a team for the 6K.

Swarthmore returns to action on Oct. 14 at Rowan University.
