SWARTHMORE, Pa.--Swarthmore College Women's Badminton cruised past the Bryn Mawr College Owls on Friday night 10-2. The Garnet won 3-of-4 doubles matches and 7-of-8 singles matches.
Hailie Xie and May Htet had a three-set battle in doubles that they emerged victorious from, 21-16, 20-22, 21-19. Htet also rallied in singles' play for a three-set win 21-13, 20-22, 21-13.
Tina Zhu, after dropping her first set 21-18 rallied to win the next two 21-18, 21-13.
The Garnet resume play on March 20 with the Main Line Doubles Tournament.
