HAVERFORD, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Cross Country finished in fourth place at the Centennial Conference Championship for the fourth consecutive season. Led by an all-conference performance from
Indy Reid-Shaw, Swarthmore posted 101 points and an average team time of 22:39.9.
With 21 points, No. 1 Johns Hopkins raced to the conference crown, averaging 21:17.0 as a team. Hopkins' Felicia Koerner posted the top time of 20:56.4.
Swarthmore senior
Indy Reid-Shaw captured all-conference laurels for the third season in a row, doing so with a time of 21:53.3 and finishing 11th overall.
Irina Bukharin and
Tess Wei also finished in the top 20. Bukharin ran for 22:20.7 to take 18th overall and
Tess Wei finished in 20th with a time of 22:38.6.
Natalie McLaughlin registered the Garnet's fourth score, 23rd place with a time of 22:54.6. Freshman
Lilly Price cracked Swarthmore's top-five with a 23:32.1, taking 29th overall.
Swarthmore's sixth and seventh runners, Hannah Gutow and
Xiaojing Zeng registered respective times of 24:13.5 and 24:14.0.
Swarthmore moves on to the NCAA Regionals at DeSales University on Nov. 12.
