Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Swarthmore College women's lacrosse team was dealt a 21-10 loss by Washington College on Wednesday, Apr. 22 at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium.
Washington College (10-4, CC 6-2), which punched its ticket to the Centennial Conference Tournament, was led by Emily Hubley's eight-point performance on seven goals and one assist. She also won eight draws. Alli Dudley also finished with eight points by tallying five goals and three assists. Junior
Lizzie Kolln netted a hat trick for Swarthmore, while senior
Sara Lentricchia tallied three assists.
The teams played a competitive game for the first 15 minutes, but the Shorewomen answered a Kolln goal by rattling off five straight. Dudley sparked the run with a goal before assisting on two others during the stretch to put the hosts firmly in control with a 10-3 lead.
After Hubley scored an unassisted marker with six seconds on the clock to make it 13-4 at the break, Swarthmore attempted to rally by scoring the opening two goals and four of the first five of the second half. Freshman

Kathryn Restrepo and Kolln all found the back of the net to bring the Garnet within six at 14-8. Swarthmore, however, would come no closer as Madison Acra and Rachel Shaw responded with markers to put the game out of reach.
Madeline Mullen made five saves to pick up the win between the pipes for Washington College, which outshot the visitors by a 36-16 margin and won 22 of the 33 draws. Junior
Connie Bowen of Swarthmore was tacked for the loss after turning away seven shots.
Swarthmore (7-8, CC 2-6) will wrap up its 2015 campaign when it hosts Haverford on Saturday, Apr. 25 at 1 p.m. The program's five seniors will be recognized prior to the contest.
