Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Swarthmore College women's lacrosse team dropped a 12-5 decision to McDaniel on Wednesday, Apr. 1 at Gill Stadium in a battle between two unbeaten teams in Centennial Conference play.
McDaniel (8-2, CC 3-0), which put an end to Swarthmore's five-game winning streak, scored the first three goals of the game and led from wire-to-wire. After junior

Lily Galzerano picked up the victory in the cage for McDaniel by making 12 saves, while Swarthmore's
Connie Bowen turned away eight shots in the defeat. The Green Terror had a 33-22 shot advantage and also won 13 of the 19 draw controls, while Swarthmore had a 20-16 edge in ground balls.
Swarthmore (6-3, CC 2-1) will be back in action when it visits ninth-ranked Gettysburg on Saturday, Apr. 4 at 1 p.m.
