SWARTHMORE, Pa.- Freshman
Jeffrey Tse took first-place finishes in the 100 backstroke and 200 breaststroke in Saturday's sessions of the Swarthmore Invitational to help lead Swarthmore College men's swimming to a first-place finish over four other schools.
Tse, who swam the 100 backstroke and the 200 breaststroke with times of 52.72 and 2:13.57, respectively, was also part of the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay that took first. The 200 medley relay team of Tse, freshman

Alejandro Hernandez and junior
Andrew Steele finished with a time of 1:38. Steele, Yang and Tse also swam in the 400 freestyle relay along with junior
Liam Fitzstevens, and finished with a time of 3:14.25.
Other notable performances during the meet included Fitzstevens and freshman
Jerry Gu. Fitzstevens finished first in both the 400 individual medley as well as the 200 backstroke with times of 4:14.82 and 1:55.36 respectively. Gu took first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.43 and third in the 200 breaststroke, finishing in 2:18.51.
Swarthmore ended the invitational with 1,103 points, followed by Salisbury University with 856.5 points. Cabrini College (493.5), Lycoming College (352), and Fashion Institute of Technology (14) rounded out the team scoring.
Swarthmore will swim against Ursinus College next on Dec. 5, home at Ware Pool.
