Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Five different players scored and seven accumulated a point to lead McDaniel to a 7-4 victory over the Swarthmore College women's lacrosse team on Wednesday, Apr. 2 at Clothier Field.

The teams traded another pair of goals and continued to play each other evenly, but McDaniel netted three straight near the end of the second half to start establishing control. Senior Monica Parcell capped the run with an unassisted goal with 4:26 on the clock to make it 5-2.
Swarthmore, which trailed by two at the break thanks to a late tally courtesy of junior
Elizabeth Bachman, continued to fight back in the second half. Sophomore
Lizzie Kolln brought the Garnet within one at 5-4 by finding the back of the net just 1:33 into the frame.
But the Garnet would come no closer, as McDaniel scored two straight goals to go up 7-4 with 14:32 left and maintained possession to run out the clock. Backup goalkeeper Lily Galzerano also made three saves to allow the Green Terror to escape with the 7-4 win.
McDaniel (6-3, CC 2-1) outshot Swarthmore by a count of 20-12 and won 11 of the 13 draw controls. The Green Terror were also 12-of-13 on clear attempts and broke up nine by the Garnet. Junior Danielle Entrot and freshman Allison Farrell paced the visitor's offense with two goals apiece, while Murphy had two helpers and caused three turnovers for the Garnet.
Swarthmore (6-3, CC 1-2) continues Centennial Conference play when it hosts nationally-ranked Gettysburg on Saturday, Apr. 5 at 1 p.m.
