HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's cross country team competed at the Centennial Conference Championships today at Haverford College. The team placed sixth overall, with freshman Jenna Cody and senior Rebecca Hammond finishing the race as the top two Garnet runners.

Cody ran the 6K course in 22:16.2, which put her in 17^th out of 113 runners. Hammond finished behind her with a time of 22:58.0 (31^st).

Freshman Katie McMenamin was the third Garnet finisher to cross the line in 23:16.8 (37^th). Senior Becky Painter followed McMenamin shortly behind, finishing in 23:19.7 (40^th).

Rounding out the top seven runners for the Swarthmore team were sophomore Liz Tawa (46^th/23:32.1), freshman Sarah Nielsen (53^rd/23:46.9), and junior Emma Saarel (55^th/23:57.6).

Also competing for the team were sophomore Zoe Cina-Sklar (74^th/25:13.7), senior Annie Myrvang (87^th/25:54.3), freshman Sophia Frantz (96^th/26:29.9), freshman Kate Crowley (99^th/26:59.2), and junior Ximena Violante (102^nd/27:10.6).
