LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Charlotte Martin was chosen the Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
Martin led the Garnet to a sixth-place finish at Haverford's Main Line Invitational, the top non-Division I squad at the meet. Individually, she was the top non-Division I runner, coming in 17
th place overall in a field of 123 competitors. The junior ran a personal-record time of 18:17.9, which was the fastest-ever by a Swarthmore runner on the Haverford 5K course, surpassing
Olivia Montini's time of 18:53.1 from 2024.
The Garnet return to action on October 2 at the Paul Short Run.
