PHILADELPHIA – Swarthmore College's
Erin Li was selected to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Tennis Team on Monday.
Li garnered the honor in her first year of eligibility for the award. The team is voted on by the athletic communications offices of the institutions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Li earned All-Centennial First Team accolades in both singles and doubles this season. She was a perfect 4-0 in Centennial singles play, all at the second spot. Li finished 11-10 overall. In doubles competition, Li went 4-1 in conference action at the first position and posted a 15-9 overall record.
Li helped the Garnet capture their second consecutive Centennial Conference title. Swarthmore reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament and was ranked No. 19 in the final national poll.
