LANCASTER, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's tennis team swept all three major awards and had eight players named to the All-Centennial Team, the conference office announced on Friday.
Michael Melnikov was chosen the Centennial Player of the Year for the fourth time, becoming the first player in conference history to earn top honors in all four years of his career.
Nikola Galov was selected the Centennial Rookie of the Year, the fourth Garnet player to receive the award and first since Melnikov in 2023. Swarthmore also garnered Centennial Coaching Staff of the Year recognition for the fourth year in a row.

Max Lindstrom were named to the All-Centennial First Team Singles while Melnikov and
Utham Koduri were chosen First Team Doubles.
Lalith Suresh was a member of Second Team Singles with
Andres Fente and
Kai Chen picking up a Second Team Doubles nod. Lindstrom and
Winston Zhang received honorable mention in doubles. In addition,
Rishi Verma was Swarthmore's representative on the Centennial All-Sportsmanship Team.
Melnikov went 4-0 in conference play and is an outstanding 32-3 overall, including 19-0 at first singles. The four-time All-American has dropped just six sets all season.
Galov went unbeaten in Centennial competition at 4-0 and boasts a 16-10 overall mark. Twelve of his wins have come in straight sets.
Lindstrom did not drop a singles match in conference play, going 3-0. The Garnet's No. 2 singles player, he is 19-10 on the year. He has won 13 matches in straight sets.
Melnikov and Koduri have gone 15-11 as a pair this season, including 3-1 against Centennial opponents at first doubles.
Suresh was 4-0 in conference action and holds a 15-10 overall record. He is eight wins in straight sets.
Fente and Chen have gone 23-4 as the Garnet's second doubles team. They went 4-0 in conference action and are 17-2 overall in dual matches.
Swarthmore's third doubles pair, Lindstrom and Zhang hold a 16-5 mark. They went 4-1 in Centennial play.
The Garnet host the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Tournament this weekend. Swarthmore takes on either Allegheny College or Penn State Behrend in the second round on Saturday.
