GILBERT, Ariz. – The Swarthmore College women's tennis team moved up three spots to No. 21 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Ranking.
The Garnet defeated No. 35 Haverford College last week 6-1 for their third straight win. Swarthmore remained unbeaten in Centennial Conference play with a 5-0 mark and improved to 9-5 overall on the year.
Ella Strickler has won 10 consecutive singles matches and boasts a 10-1 record, primarily at the fifth spot.
Erin Li is on a five-match win streak while
Lola Diaz has won three in a row as the pair have alternated between first and second singles. The Garnet's third doubles pair of
Riya Rao and Strickler is 7-3 this season and has won its last three matches.
Swarthmore is back in action on Saturday when it hosts No. 26 University of Mary Washington.
