LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Max Lindstrom was chosen the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Lindstrom went 3-1 over a pair of Garnet victories, winning both singles matches. He lost at third doubles but bounced back for a 6-0, 6-7, 1-0 (10-8) triumph at second singles in a 6-1 conference win at Franklin and Marshall. The senior then rolled to a 6-1 victory at third doubles with
Winston Zhang before earning a come-from-behind 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 6-4 win at second singles in a 5-2 triumph against No. 19 Mary Washington.
Swarthmore takes on Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday at home.
