SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The No. 8 Swarthmore College men's tennis team shut out visiting Franklin and Marshall College, 7-0, in a Centennial Conference match on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Garnet won all nine matches contested with 
Max Lindstrom and 
Kai Chen both going 2-0 on the day.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- 
Utham Koduri and 
Max Pogorelov got Swarthmore started with a 6-3 victory at first doubles. 
Andres Fente and Chen teamed together for a 6-3 triumph at the second spot and the pair of 
Winston Zhang and Lindstrom came away with a 6-4 win at third doubles to finish off the sweep.
 
- Chen rolled to a 6-1, 6-3 success at the fifth position to begin singles play. 
Aamish Pal won in straight sets at third singles, 6-2, 6-3, before 
Rishi Verma clinched the Garnet victory with a 6-1, 6-4 decision at the second flight.
 
- Lindstrom played at the top spot and came out on top, 6-2, 6-2. 
Dylan Hayes Gilbert won his bout at the sixth spot in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. 
Aadhi Raja concluded the match with a 6-4, 7-5 triumph at the fourth position.
