SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The No. 8 Swarthmore College men's tennis team handled business with conference victories over Muhlenberg College, 6-1, and Gettysburg College, 6-1, on Saturday. The Garnet have won 18-straight regular season matches against Centennial opponents. 

SWARTHMORE 6, MUHLENBERG 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet dominated doubles play to secure a point against the Mules. Kai Chen/ Andres Fente cruised to a 6-1 victory in the top doubles spot. Nicholas Choo/ Max Pogorelov followed up with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, while Dylan Hayes Gilbert/ Kevin Jiang capped off the sweep with a 6-1 triumph at No. 3 doubles.

- Chen led the Garnet to victory at No. 1 singles, taking the opening set 6-1 and finishing strong with a 6-0 win in the second set.

- Gilbert, Fente, and Jiang each dominated their singles matches with 6-0, 6-0 victories. Hayes cruised at No. 3 singles, while Fente and Jiang secured wins at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. 

- Pogorelov earned his second win of the day, defeating his opponent 8-3 in No. 6 singles.

SWARTHMORE 6, GETTYSBURG 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Swarthmore dropped two of three doubles matches, conceding a point to the Bullets. The lone doubles victory came from Max Lindstrom/ Winson Zhang, who won 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

- Michael Melnikov bounced back from a doubles defeat with a singles victory. Melnikov won 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, while Max Lindstrom secured a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.

- Rishi Verma defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles, followed by Aamish Pal, who cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4 singles.

- Aadhi Raja and Winston Zhang both secured victories to close out the match. Raja won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles, while Zhang prevailed 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
