HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Yellowjackets got out to a 3-0 lead with one run in the second and two in the third, all on a pair of errors. After being held without a hit through 3.1 innings, the Garnet broke through in the fourth on McClammy's first long ball of the day to make it 3-1.
- In the sixth, Barone and Jackson reached on back-to-back singles with one out. McClammy came up and bashed her second homer of the contest, this one a three-run shot to give Swarthmore a 4-3 advantage. It was her second career two-homer game, the first since her rookie season in 2022.
- However, Rochester put together a rally in the bottom of the seventh. The Yellowjackets led off with a bunt single followed by a hit by pitch. A double brought in the tying run and put runners on second and third. An error loaded the bases before Rochester won the game with a walk-off single.
