SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The No. 23 Swarthmore College women's tennis team picked up a conference victory with a 9-0 sweep over Muhlenberg College on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DOUBLES
-Â Stutz/Â Watts opened action with an 8-2 victory in top doubles. The Geib twins then teamed up for an 8-1 victory with
Lara Geib/
Marisa Geib dominating No. 2 doubles.Â
- Swarthmore completed the doubles sweep with Shiffer/Â Rao winning in No. 3 action after their opponent withdrew.
HOW IT HAPPENED
SINGLES
- Shiffer was victorious in top singles for her second win of the evening. The sophomore took the opening set 6-1, before clinching in straight sets with a 6-3 decision.Â
-Â Stutz became a two-time winner with a victory in No. 2 singles. Stutz won the first set 6-2, while closing out the match with a 6-1 second set.

Ella Strickler and
Lara Geib both cruised to victories in No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Neither player surrendered a game as they won each set 8-0.Â
-Â Rao looked strong in a No. 5 singles victory. The sophomore got out to a fast start with a 6-1 opening set, before closing the match with a 6-2 decision.
Spencer Watts completed the sweep in No. 6 singles after her opponent withdrew.Â
