BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The No. 27 Swarthmore College women's tennis team earned its second straight shutout victory with a 9-0 decision at Bryn Mawr College in a Centennial Conference match on Tuesday.

Kathleen Shiffer and
Riya Rao got the Garnet out to a quick lead with a dominant 8-0 win at second doubles.
Lara Geib and
Alice Coxe teamed for an 8-4 triumph at third doubles before
Lola Diaz and
Erica Stutz completed the sweep with an 8-3 success at the top flight.
- Geib rolled past her opponent at the fourth position to begin singles action, winning every game on the way to a 6-0, 6-0 whitewash. Coxe dropped just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory at sixth singles to up her season record to 3-0.
- Stutz won 6-2, 6-4 at the third flight and Rao followed with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph at fifth singles to push the Swarthmore advantage to 7-0. Rao is unbeaten in singles play this year with a 7-0 mark.
- Shiffer downed her foe at second singles, 6-1, 6-2, then Diaz finished off the win with a 6-3, 7-5 success at the top spot.
UP NEXT
The Garnet (9-5, 6-2 Centennial) conclude the regular season at Franklin and Marshall College on Saturday. The winner of the match will be the third seed for next week's conference tournament while the loser will fall to the fourth seed.
