SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The No. 19 Swarthmore College women's tennis team opened Centennial Conference play with an 8-1 victory over visiting Dickinson College on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet made quick work of the three doubles matches. The teams of

Spencer Watts/
Oviya Kumaran both earned 8-0 wins at the first and second doubles respectively.
Daniela Padron-Castillo and
Riya Rao partnered up for an 8-1 triumph at the third spot.

Lola Diaz and
Kathleen Shiffer both blanked their opponents at second and third singles respectively, 6-0, 6-0. The Red Devils picked up their lone point at the top position when Williams was forced to retire.

Ella Strickler won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0, at the fourth flight for her first collegiate victory.
Lara Geib grabbed her first win of the campaign, 6-0, 6-1, at fifth singles.

Riya Rao improved to 3-0 on the season with a 6-1, 6-1 success at the sixth spot.
