Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's tennis team finished strong on the final day of the Swat/Haverford Invitational on Sunday. The Garnet took seven of their nine matches over The College of New Jersey as they finished with a 21-9 match record on the weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet took two of the three doubles matches over the Lions. Charley Force/ Andres Fente picked up a victory with a 8-5 decision, while Max Pogorelov/ Graham Hadesman outlasted the Lions in a thrilling 8-7 win. The Garnet pairing edged out their opponents in the tiebreaker, 7-5. 

- Winston Zhang and Grahame Brown both earned their first collegiate singles victories for the Garnet. Zhang took the opening set by a 6-4 decision, before clinching the match with a 7-5 victory. Brown then bested his opponent, 6-2, 6-3, to earn another win. Brown and Zhang also combined for a pair of doubles victories on the weekend. 

 - Aadhi Raja also captured his first collegiate singles victory. Raja looked strong in his match as he took down his challenger, 6-2, 6-0. 

- Sophomores Lalith Suresh and Utham Koduri earned victories in singles action. Suresh bested his opponent, 6-2, 6-3, while Koduri cruised to victory by a 6-3, 6-2 decision.
