Offense Has Big Day in Non-Conference Finale Over Neumann

ASTON, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's lacrosse team wrapped up their non-conference schedule with a 16-8 victory at Neumann University on Wednesday evening. The Garnet end their non-conference slate with a perfect 7-0 mark.

Isabela Bloomquist and Sophie Finkelstein both scored career-high goals to lead the Garnet past Neumann. Bloomquist led all scorers with seven goals to match her career-best total from earlier this season, while Finkelstein set a new career-best mark with four goals.

Francesca Richardson has been a key piece of Swarthmore's offense and was excellent again tonight. The senior had a career-high five points and a career-high three assists.

Finkelstein and Bloomquist then added their second goals to regain the lead for Swarthmore. However, Bloomquist wasn't finished as she scored once more in the opening quarter to complete the first quarter hat trick. Francesa Richardson was credited with an assist on Bloomquist's two final goals of the stanza, 5-2.
