No. 20 Women's Soccer Rolls at Bryn Mawr

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The No. 20 Swarthmore College women's soccer team picked up its fourth shutout of the season with a 3-0 win at Bryn Mawr College in Centennial Conference action on Wednesday.

Keren Maze, Manu Anargyrou, and Ava Gizzie all found the back of the net for the Garnet. It was the first collegiate goal for Anargyrou, while Maze and Gizzie netted their third and ninth tallies of the campaign respectively.

Lila Travers earned the clean sheet and needed to make just one save on the day as the Swarthmore defense limited the Owls to just two shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maze opened the scoring in the 20th minute, booting a corner kick directly over the goalkeeper and into the cage. It is the second time this year that Maze has scored on a corner kick.

- It remained a one-goal game for the majority of the contest as the Bryn Mawr keeper totaled 10 saves to keep the Owls in it. Anargyrou finally gave the Garnet some insurance in the 79th minute. Allie Zitelli rang a shot off the crossbar but Anargyrou followed up on the rebound and gave Swarthmore a 2-0 lead.

- Gizzie potted their team-leading ninth goal of the year in the 84th minute. They won a one-on-one battle with the goalkeeper and made it 3-0. The tally continued Gizzie's torrid campaign as they have scored in five straight games and in eight of the Garnet's nine matches.
