Volleyball Cruises Past Bryn Mawr, 3-0

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College volleyball team made quick work of Bryn Mawr College with a 3-0 sweep on Tuesday night. The Garnet remained unbeaten in conference play as they improved their record to 3-0 in the Centennial Conference.

Trisha Razdan and Alexia Enache led the attack with a game-high eight kills, respectively. Madeline Mountcaste and Emily Sun also split duties as the lead setter with 15 assists each.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet led comfortably for the majority of the opening set as they led the entire way. Kaylee Zhang recorded an ace to force the first Bryn Mawr timeout, 19-8. Swarthmore led by double digits the rest of the way, while Trisha Razdan closed out the set with a kill, 25-13.

- Bryn Mawr hung around in a competitive second set. Both teams traded leads early in the stanza with Swarthmore unable to gain separation. The Garnet finally began to capture momentum midway through the set with a 7-2 run to take a 20-13 lead. Bryn Mawr battled back, but were unable to overtake the Garnet as they held on for a 25-20 win.

- Swarthmore raced out to a fast start in the third set. The Garnet answered with seven-straight points after Bryn Mawr opened with the first point of the stanza. The Owls then took a timeout after falling behind, 13-5. Swarthmore began to put the Owls away with an 8-1 run to force another timeout. Oci White tallied her first-career kill exiting the timeout as Swarthmore cruised to a 25-8 victory.
