HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ursinus recorded a kill to start the match before the Garnet went in front with five straight points. Zindzhi Montgomery tallied a pair of kills, Trisha Razdan had one, and Zhang registered an ace. Swarthmore built a 16-9 advantage before the Bears posted a 6-1 rally to get within two (17-15). However, Perry came back with two kills around a ball handling error and the Garnet upped the margin to five on their way to a 25-18 triumph.

- In the second set, Ursinus got out to an 11-6 advantage. Swarthmore chipped away at the deficit and got it down to one at 17-16. With the score 18-17, the Bears recorded four out of five to create some distance. The Garnet were able to get within two but Ursinus closed out a 25-21 win to even the match.

- It was tight early in the third set with the Bears holding a slim 10-9 lead. Swarthmore then went off on a 6-1 run to go ahead 15-11. Zhang produced an ace and a kill to lead the stretch. Ursinus closed the gap to one (23-22) but two kills by Perry gave the Garnet a 25-22 decision.

- The score was even at nine in the fourth set when a Pena kill, an Ursinus error, and a Pena ace put Swarthmore in front 12-9. The Bears cut the deficit to one at 12-11 but the Garnet rolled the rest of the way with a 13-7 stretch to earn the 25-18 victory.
