HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet struck early off a penalty corner in the fourth minute.

- Shots continued to be at a premium for both squads in the second quarter as they combined for just three attempts.

- In the third quarter, Swarthmore had another pair of chances saved by the goalkeeper. The Mules were then able to pot the tying goal in the 39
th minute. Muhlenberg rode the momentum into the fourth, registering three penalty corners and three shots within the first five minutes.
Cassandra Conklin turned away a shot and the Garnet defense blocked the other two to keep it even.
- Swarthmore broke through for the go-ahead goal on its only shot of the period with 5:34 remaining. A pass towards the cage deflected off a defender's foot and into the middle of the scoring area.
Katherine Kohn gathered the loose ball, turned, and connected with an open Findlay on the left post. Findlay one-timed the pass past a diving goalkeeper to put the Garnet back in front.
