HOW IT HAPPENED
- Swarthmore set the tone early with a 9-3 lead to open the first set after rallying off five-straight points. Ellie Streeper helped lead the charge with a pair of service aces during the Garnet's 5-0 run. Eastern would battle back with five-unanswered points of their own, however, the Garnet would regain control with a 12-4 run to end the set with a 25-16 advantage.

- Swarthmore narrowly took the second set with a 25-22 victory. The Garnet began the set much like the opening stanza with a 9-4 run. However, Eastern would battle back and take a 14-13 lead, which was answered by three-straight Swarthmore points. The Eagles would retake the lead with an 18-17 advantage, but the Garnet quickly regrouped with a 6-1 run. Swarthmore ended up closing the set on an Eagles service error.

- The Garnet closed out the match with a dominating 25-13 third set victory. Eastern kept the game close early in the stanza, but the Garnet pulled away with an 8-1 run to end play.
