Cramblit Lifts Men’s Soccer over Kean with Second-Half Score

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's soccer team outlasted Kean University, 2-1, in a thrilling victory on Wednesday night.

Brandon Cramblit came through with the game-winning goal in the 68th minute to seal the victory for the Garnet. Toshiro Kenney also found the back of the net with the game's opening tally in the 13th minute.

Max Kral made two saves in goal for the Garnet as he allowed just one goal in the 31st minute.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kenney connected on an early goal for the Garnet in the 13th minute. Sean Nolan found the first-year attacker on a free kick from 25-yards out following a Cougars red card. Kenney then headed the strike past the goalkeeper to take the lead.

- The Garnet defense fought off several scoring opportunities in the opening half as the defense did an exceptional job of limiting shots on goal. Swarthmore outshot Kean 5-2 in the opening half and allowed just three shots on goal for the entire contest.

- Cramblit came up with yet another clutch score for the Garnet. Jackson Haynes sent a perfect ball into the box from midfield, which was controlled by the chest of Bless Tumushabe. The senior deflected the ball to Cramblit, who dribbled the ball into the goal for the game-winner.
